Food Tech - 2018

Pancakes: 
Ingredients: 

  • 1cp of Self raising flour
  • 2Tbsp of White sugar
  • 1c of Milk
  • 1 egg
  • 30g of butter 
  • And Maple syrup 
Method: 
First we put the dry ingredients first so we put 1 cp of self raising flour into a bowl then added 2Tbsp of White sugar. We then put add the wet ingredients into the bowl so 1 cup of milk, 1 finely beaten egg, 30g of melted butter and then mix until it's smooth with no lumps in it. When that is done you take out your pan put it to 180 degrees and spread butter all over the pan. Once it has heated up then you start scooping some of the mixture with a spoon and pour it into the pan. Cook the pancakes until it is golden brown on the edges and then when that is done you then serve it on a plate and pour golden syrup over it and it's optional to put blueberries on top too.











Cocoa Muffins:
Ingredients:
Step 1 - 2 c of self rising flour
  • 1 c of sugar

  • 4 tsp of cocoa

  • ½ c of oil

  • 1 c milk, 1 egg



First we had to put the dry ingredients together and that was 2cp of self raising flour, 4tsp of cocoa powered, 1cp of white sugar you put all that into a bowl. Then you add to the wet ingredients which are 1cp of milk, 1 egg, 1c of oil and then you put all of it into a one bowl and mix it with a plastic scraper until it is smooth and dark brown. When it is ready then you scoop the batch into the muffin trays and then you put it in the oven for 15 minutes at 180 degrees. When that is done then you sit down and enjoy your muffins.


Macaroni:
Method: 
Firstly you pour macaroni into a pot with cold water and put it on 180 degrees and boil it until it is nice and soft. Finely chopped and diced up the tomatoes and onions, then put it into a bowl, then we get the ham and dice it into fine squares and pour that into the bowl. When all that is done you then pour the macaroni into a sive to take out the water then add it into your mixture. Then add mayonnaise and mix until it's good then you eat.

  • Mayonnaise 









Burger:

Ingredients:
Beef mince( Hand-made patty)
Cheese
Lettuce
Tomato
Buns
Sweet Chilli Sauce



We first chopped up all the vegetables including lettuce, and tomatoes and then we cooked the mince until it is cooked finely, When all of it is done then we spread the mayonnaise on the buns and add chilli sauce to it. And then put all of the things together then eat.
Nachos:
This week, we created nachos. As in; Nachos sauce while placing upon the nachos. To be fair, it was delicious. However its sad cause this is our last cooking session of the year before jump start.
Method:
1. Dice the onions   and fry until soft add the mince and fry until its cooked
2. Add baked beans, sauce, cheese, boil for 4 mins.
3.Serve on top of the corn chips.

Chocolate cake:

Ingredients: 

  • 1-2c of SRF
  • 2-1c of sugar
  • 3- 1/2c of oil
  • 4- 1c of milk
  • 5- 1 egg
  • 6- 1/4c of cocoa
  • 7- Combine all and mix well, scoop into the muffin tray 
  • 8- Bake 180 degrees for 15 mins
